About Deborah

Deborah Penk holds a First Class Honours degree from the University of Auckland and University of Otago - New Zealand's top two universities. Her degree is in English Language and Literature, History and Classical Languages.

Deborah is also a qualified teacher of many years' experience. She has taught at all levels of the New Zealand state and private education system, from New Entrants to second year University.

At every level Deborah has written user-friendly resources to support her students' learning, which she is now making available to other teachers nationally and internationally.

Deborah's experience in the classroom has been supplemented over the years by projects in writing and broadcasting on a variety of topics.

With her husband Stephen, Deborah is the proud mother of five sons - several of whom she has homeschooled - and all of whom have succeeded academically. Deborah and Stephen also have two young granddaughters.
